When I watch a show I usually go on a Twitter monolog, describing in real time what I am thinking in every second of watching. I usually do old movies and shows. Because there is a lesser risk of posting a spoiler that will get me blocked. Nah, I am lying, it takes me long to get current shows in the format I want them in. Anyway, due to the advancement of my internet apps and technologies I was able to watch Netflix's Daredevil immediately it was released. I wanted to compare it with the movie which was still fresh in my mind. I was impressed. And went on a rant. That got me writing to one of the few nerdy sites coming up in Kenya.
I am a fan of Martin Scorsese. Even if I may not always scream it on top of my lungs. He released a new movie staring Leornado Di Caprio called The Wolf of Wall Street and it was banned in Kenya after a few showings. Reason? 'Because we deserve better' according to our film board.
Here is my opinion of why I need to stop watching remade comic movies that have an ensemble cast. Please read on and tell me if your view is anything close to mine. Spoiler alert. I hated this movie. As in if I had an option between getting strangled by a bear and watching this movie, I would need to know how big the bear was so that it is quick and painless. Unlike this movie.
As the election day draws closer, the fear of another post election violence heightens. If not for everybody else, then for me.
